Muscle strength and golf performance, or why every golfer should do High Intensity Training (HIT)

When I answer the question "What sport do you play?" with a confident "I play golf," I get a cheeky smile and a comment, "That's not a sport." Meanwhile, golf is one of the most complex sports and High Intensity Training is key to improve your game in three specific ways. So, no matter how young or old, amateur or elite golf player you are, do strength training to enjoy improved posture, swing and endurance on and off the golf course.

If you could only train for a minute once a week, do strength training for your legs!

The strength lies in the legs. All athletes such as polo players, skiers, cyclists or runners benefit from strength training of the legs to increase athletic performance and endurance. The legs and buttocks are our most important muscle group in everyday life too. In addition, the increased performance of the leg muscles correlates with an improved testosterone balance, higher insulin sensitivity and accelerated recovery. So, how to train legs?
