Romy Blumer, 50, had a back surgery in April 2019. Referred by her doctor, Romy joined AURUM to build strength and regain muscles in the safest way possible. 6 months later, Romy exceeded her pre-injury strength levels and is today stronger than ever.
I used to do daily strength training with barbells: knee bends, cross lifting, bench press, rowing, pull-ups, push-ups and handstands, 2x a week yoga, daily 2-3 hours walk with my dog. Eating paleo, low carb, organic and regional food kept me in shape, and I always felt confident about my body. I must admit though: sometimes I used to feel fatigue from frequent training. A herniated disc disrupted my active lifestyle and made me stop. I was hardly able to move, let alone train with free weights!
After my back surgery, AURUM training was essential for me. Doing the 6 Minute Workout 1x a week, I've rebuilt my back muscles in a targeted and safe manner, without any fear. Bear in mind: This was only a few weeks after the surgery, when I hardly dared to move! I felt safe and well taken care of in the 1:1 personal coaching. Every time I exercised, I experienced a burst of mental energy and felt proud improving in baby steps, challenging myself gently and achieving a better AURUM score every week, which motivated and helped heal. Even now, having achieved my rehab and injury prevention goal, I feel the personal coach still helps me mobilize all my strength and I continue to improve.
The effectiveness and efficiency of the AURUM 6 Minute Workout has been unbeatable so far! I became not only physically but also mentally stronger. After each training, my muscles are shaking and aching and my mind is thriving more than ever before. Currently, I do the AURUM strength training every other week. On post-AURUM days, I enjoy easy yoga and take long walks with my dog. As a driven person, I occasionally do light weight training at home with the goal to improve my AURUM score. I've recovered from injury quickly and am on to pursue my next big project: early retirement and immigration to the warm South!
